Darkoa Ofori, the little ones, Mama, It is well with Yaa's soul, resting with her Maker in Peace and Comfort. Let us be thankful for a life well led. Her UESP team struggles to come to terms

with this. She took the lead and we all pray to meet again. Take heart and keep Yaa's proud legacy aloft. God Always Bless. Cornelius

Thank you Mama Dartey for beautifying the lives of those you came in contact with. You had one of the most cute, hearty and lady-like laughter's I'll ever see and hear. You were warm and l

oving to me and many other youth. I can make a long list of the positive impacts you made on us. My wedding day was more special because you showed up and I'll always remember how my heart fluttered that day as you, Darkoa and the kids showed up. I love you and will miss you so much.

Yayo has lived a great life. Her life has been so blessed in the sense that she's touched many lives positively. For us we got to know her for a short time but her impact was great. She

was a great ENCOURAGEMENT and she counselled us on Adansie's and Achimota school. She did not miss words at all and this helped us bring Adansie home as a day student and supported her with private tuition which has made everything better now for Adansie and for us all. We dearly cherish Yayo and with much heaviness of heart we join you to MOURN at the loss of this Great Life. However we will not mourn as though we have no hope. We have assurance in God's word that she is resting in the bosom of the Lord. She knew the Lord and we know for sure that God will grant unto her a beautiful place in PARADISE where we shall all meet her again. May the Lord HIMSELF Comfort you all and take away every pain. May the Lord grant you Strength and a quick Recovery such that the thought of Yayo will bring Great Joy to your Heart and Soul. May your life be more blessed even in this. May you be greatly COMFORTED. We love you all dear and we are with you. God bless you . Amen.

My Tribute To My Grandmother, Yayo (First Grandchild - Amakey Afaglo (“Num

ber one”) Yayo, it’s so weird writing a tribute to you. I’m still in shock and denial. I thank you for all the encouragement. Thank you for being my cheerleader. You’re so dear to me and all your grandchildren. Anytime I was going to write an exam or have any major event in my life you would make me so confident about myself and you never ceased to let me know how proud I made you. It brought me so much joy making you happy. You called me your number one , gave me the name “BEAUTY AND BRAINS”, as well as my own name Amakey. You showed us all an UNEXPLAINABLE love. You spoiled me and my siblings and gave us all we asked for. We would come to you with things we wanted to learn or classes we wanted to take and you would make all the calls and pay in a heartbeat. You and I had some deep conversations, and you were so enthusiastic about my future. The last time I saw you, which was at the airport in 2019, you didn’t want to let me go. Everyone else left to go t

I still can't find the words to describe how I feel, but God knows best ! As you hold the memorial service of your mum Dr Doris today, I only wish to say I am with you and the family in sp

irit. She deserves the best farewell service. A woman with such passion for humanity and of such grandeur. It's a pleasure to have known your mother, and my 'godmother' too. May she rest in perfect peace. Shadrack

A Hearty Smile, Sparkling eyes, Head thrown back accompanied by a delightful and infectious laughter. That was Dr Doris Yaa Dartey, My lecturer, Mentor, Big Sister, ‘Kokonsa’ partner and

friend. She was funny and always put me at ease whenever I am around her, she was always on guard because of her sharp wit. She was beautiful in both body and spirit. I love her to bits. Rest Well Dr. You have fought a good fight. You have finished your course and have kept the faith..”.

Dear sister my heart is bleeding with tears and sorrows, this is because of your short passing. But it is because if any prophet would have told me that this day will come so soon l wouldn'

t have believe him or her. Distance have been our relationship as brother and sister, this is not because of anything but is because of your quest to achieve greatness in life. I once remembered our late father once told me that your sister should have been a boy and you being a girl. I also recalled at your office some years back at the institute of journalism you also said to me Kofi my brother how I wish I was a boy. This is because of what you wanted to achieve in life is the for being a boy not a girl. But dear sister you have fullfilled your dreams as a girl even though you couldn't finished them all, the name Dr Doris yaa Dartey will be always be remembered in the present and the future generations of journalism both in Ghana and across the world. I am very sad I couldn't be there with you and to pay my farewell wishes to you sister. But whatever journey you have embarked on today may the good Lord accompany you and keep you safe until we meet again, Rest in perfect peace in Jes

Dr. Doris Yaa Dartey was very kind and generous to me. I loved her like my own grandmother. She always called me her granddaughter which made me very happy and I’m very sad and heartbrok

en she’s left. I’m very sad I couldn’t get to meet her like I planned. I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. May the soul of your mother/grandma be at peace with our Heavenly Father.
